Hello there!

I’m Kelly, the owner and founder of Cascade Photography. The name Cascade is a nod to my husband and I’s old home, Washington state. The Cascade Mountain Range was always an escape for us, and a place that always left us in awe. I hope to do the same for others with my photography.

I specialize in flexible portrait sessions. My style is primarily focused on storytelling, but I am here to make your vision come to life and am open to different preferences! I have experience with photography across the globe and years in dance to help bring authenticity to movement in my photos.

Before leaping into starting my own photography business, I worked for years as an ER nurse and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Helping people in whatever way I can has always been an important part of my life, and I hope to continue that with this business.

Stepping back from medicine after having my son and my own health complications allowed me to follow this path, and I am so grateful for all of you who may be considering working with me.

A little extra: If I’m not obsessing over photos, you’ll likely find me in nature with my wild family of boys (2 of whom are of the fur variety), reading, baking, hiking, or writing.
